New guitarist and album update (23.01.2010)
66crusher are pleased to announce that we've found a replacement guitarist for
Jonny Wolf who sadly had to leave our forces last year. New guitarist is none
other than Martin Legreid, who also plays with
Hellish Outcast, who we feel can
make a great contribution to the band. Now that we have a complete line-up
again, we are looking into doing gigs again. Hopefully we'll have something set
up later this spring.
In other news, the second album, still tentative titled "Blackest Day", is
completed and all the files have been handed over to Herbrand Larsen for mixing.
Again, in true 66crusher style, we delivered them just as he had to enter the
studio himself to record the new Enslaved
album.

Jonny Wolf leaves the band (07.09.2009)
"I, Jonny Wolf am sadly to report that after almost 9 years with 66crusher, I`ve
decided to quit the band because of various reasons. At first I would like to
thank the band for all the fantastic years we`ve had together, and I would also
like to thank all of our fantastic fans out there!!! And for those of you which
have supported us through our wildest concerts and bought our incredible
record...I`m deeply greatful...
Our 2nd album is almost done recording, and that album will be the last of my
contribution of myself with my guitarplaying and musical song creation and
writing. Thank you all, for all the joy you have given me :-)

66crusher lost most of their equipment in a big fire in Skuteviksboder, Bergen.
Friday the 26th september, they are playing a concert, together with lots of
other bands in support of all the bands that lost their valuable instruments in
the fire.

Second album recording, pictures and liverecording (19.02.2008)
The drums are now recorded for our second album, who has been given the
working title "the blackest day". The rest of the recordings will be done soon,
but there is no estimated release-date yet. The only sure thing is that it will
sound great and be very unique.
We the gig at Hinsides whent good, and we have a live recording from there
that is one of the songs from the next album. Dowload it

66crusher is headlining the Thursday of the local happening at
Hinsides in Bergen called Psyco Holiday the 3. January 2008. Find the event
on your
facebook, and buy your ticket in the bar at
Inside Rock Club.
November doom (22.11.2007)
It has been a long time since something exiting happened. But that
doesn’t mean 66crusher is at sleep. We have spent some time building a new
rehearsal room here in Bergen, and are currently enjoying new and great rock and
roll facilities. Material for the next album is close to finished, and it all
sounds great and of course very unique. Truth unmasked has received lots of
great reviews; take a look at our
Reviews & Interviews page.
Next on the list for our fans is a European tour in April. Contact
your local venue and give them a hint about a great live band packing their bags
soon. More information will be published here as soon as we know anything.
Before then, buy our album and enjoy.
Unmasking the truth! (28.05.2007)
Thanks to everyone that
showed up at Hulen on our
release party. This night was one of the best ever, with a great live set,
fantastic audience and lots of supportive friends! We have uploaded some
pictures here.
The album is now on its way to the world, hopefully to convince a few
music-lovers out there. We will try to collect everyting that we find of
reviews. If you find anyting on the web we dont have listed in the new Reviews & Interviews
section, please let ut know.
Release party! (13.05.2007)
The release party at Hulen will start 22.00 SHARP Saturday 19th. We will start off with an acoustic set, then take a short break before the heavy set. Make sure to have your pockets full, new t-shirts and CDs will be sold for a reasonable price. The door CC is set to 30,-
